27w

Hello, third trimester! Only 13 weeks to go, and only 10 weeks to term-WOW!

Since the baby registry is (finally after a couple of months of research) pretty much done, as far as necessities go anyway, my next project is finding a baby book. This is going to prove difficult because I want it to be perfect-no dumb, pointless questions, no repetition, one that is unique. I am completely in love with my Belly Book (see picture below) which is my sole reasoning for taking belly shots every week, versus every month or so-it's such a great book and it will be so fun to look back on in the years to come-so I looked to see if that author made a baby book too (because I'm sure it would be fantastic) and nope. She has a Birthday Book which I do think I'll invest in, but nothing specifically for the first year or so. Patrick found one that was pretty neat at Barnes & Noble, but I'm not 100% sold on it. I guess it's not being picky... it's just not wasting our money on something I am not completely in love with. So the great search 2008 is on...

(See? Isn't it cute? There are lots more different pages for recording cravings, just random questions in general, ultrasound, prenatal appointments...)

Tuesday is my glucose test... which I am NOT looking for. Since I'm hypoglycemic anyway that sugar crap that they make you drink makes me so sick... Patrick WILL have the morning off to take me to it or I'll have words. I'm nervous about the outcome, I won't lie. But I've known for a couple of years now that I'm more at risk for it when I am pregnant, so we'll just have to see.

Umm... not much else going on. The baby is getting good at lodging itself right underneath my right rib so I can't bend over sometimes. It favors the right side in general-I took a picture the other day where it was all smooshed over and my belly was completely lopsided looking down on it.

Only 3 more weeks till my 3D/4D ultrasound... woohoo!

My baby did the same thing! Gage loved my right side! I don't remember ever feeling him on the left side and he would also lodge himself up in my rib cage! NOT FUN!! Not to bring you bad news but it DOESN'T get any better!!! Good Luck!!!
