Guess what...

It's a girl!!

I know, I know, we weren't going to find out, but I have a confession to make... when we got our 24wk anatomy ultrasound done at the Naval Hospital, even though we told the tech we didn't want to know, she said "he" and "his" a few times-and since I thought it was a boy all along, we were pretty convinced that that's what it was. We just figured that since we were pretty sure-from our own intuition (which SUCKS I guess! haha!) and what the ultrasound tech "slipped" and said-it would be pointless to pretend we didn't know and we'd get it confirmed at today's 3D/4D appointment. We've been buying boy clothes for the past 6 weeks and we even have 2 names we were in love with that we were going to choose from at birth-so you can imagine our COMPLETE shock when she said nope, that is DEFINITELY a girl! WOW! Both of us are still completely in shock, thinking it was a boy... I guess it's better a shock now than later, haha!... but she looked nice and healthy in there.

Her cord was in front of her face the whole time, so we couldn't get any completely clear pictures... which doesn't surprise me because she was miss acrobat ALL day yesterday and ALL night last night, so she was too lazy to swat the cord away. But here's a few pictures of her, minus the really invasive ones of her little parts, haha-she has my nose and chin for sure, possibly has Patrick's shoulder dimples, has a little hair on her head, and makes cute scrunchy faces. Womb's Window was awesome-they scanned me for 45 minutes (longer than normal) trying to get her to move the cord, and we have the video of the whole scan which I am about to go watch in complete bliss. So... after I finish uploading all of these pictures, I have to go through all the boy stuff we bought, pack up what we want to save for future babies, and go exchange the rest!
