Today I went to the Budgeting for Baby class on base-it's sponsored by the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, and it was pretty common sense information to me since we go by a budget and I am a pretty smart, frugal shopper (thank you Grama)... but at the end of it we got this awesome layette, all Gerber stuff and an afghan hand crocheted by one of the ladies in their crocheting/knitting club! Super neat! It was definitely worth going to, even if just for this (AND there is a current priced out list of diaper costs at different places in Jacksonville... score)!

Hey one thing that Todd and I did to get some "Free" diapers was we had a boy girl diaper party! We provided the Keg and a sub and some chips and our guests brought a pack of diapers! We actually made out pretty well! We got over 1200 diapers from the party!! It was awesome!! Just a thought!!
That is so cool and handmade blankets are so sweet and special.
